Last evening was the last of 4 nights of our carnivals. A special thanks to West End Fire & Rescue for the help in the kitchen, to the stand-by crews from Newville, Penn Twp. and Shippensburg EMS and the fire police from Newville, Shippensburg and Penn Twp. A special thanks to the auxiliary for making over 200 pies for the 4 nights of our fairs. Also thanks to all the members who helped as well as the support from the community. The kitchen was at about 120 degrees for awhile on Saturday but we managed to get through the night. Thanks to all the sponsors who donated in some way to offset the cost of the fireworks. I will have those posted later.
