Indoor Flea Market and Chicken Bar-B-Q

The South Newton Township Volunteer will again be holding its annual Spring Indoor Flea Market and Chicken Bar-B-Q. The Flea market will run from 8 AM till 2 PM. If you are interrested in renting tables to set up you may contact Lois Burkett at 532-4207 or President Deb Goshorn at 532-8962.

The Chicken Bar-B-Q will be served from 11 AM till 1 Pm or SOLD OUT. The meal will include 1/2 chicken, roll, Baked Beans and applesauce for $7.50 or you may buy just a 1/2 chicken for $5. If you would like you may preorder by calling Dan Burkett @ 530-5456 and leave a message or Lois Burkett @ 532-4207

Spring Cash Bash

This is a NEW event for this year. The South Newton Twp. Volunteer Fire Co. & West End Fire & Rescue is doing this as a joint venture and will be held outside at the South Newton Twp. Fire Company. Tickets are only $25 each and guests are $10 each. Included will be picnic style food all day long as well as drinks. Gates open at Noon and the drawing runs from 2 PM till 6:55 PM. A ticket will be drawn every 10 minutes for either $350 or $500. At 7 PM all tickets will be put back into the drum and be eligible to win $5,000. Only 1000 tickets sold. Must have a ticket to enter. Tickets can be purchased from any member, by calling the firehouse at 717-532-4999 or sending an email to sntvfc@kuhncom.net
