The Company voted to purchase 2 - 2008 Dodge Quad Cab 4x4 Pick up trucks to be used for a Brush and Utility. We should have the trucks in the early part of January and then we will have the trucks outfitted for there use. Some of the work will be performed by the company members. Stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks.

Free Smoke Detectors

GET YOUR FREE SMOKE DETECTOR-

On October 17th, the South Newton Township  Volunteer Fire Company received smoke detectors from ABC27 News in their "Operation Save A Life" program.    South Newton Twp. Vol. Fire Company  along with over 150 other Fire Departments in the mid state ABC27 News Station and the Smoke detector manufacture KIDDE, who donated 10,000 smoke detectors, hope to distribute the smoke detectors to those who are in need of a new detector.

Senior citizens needing help installing the detectors can ask for assistance and the South Newton Twp. Vol. Fire Co.  will schedule a time for installment.

Residence should have 1 smoke detector for each level of their house. Replace old smoke detectors that are over 10 years old. Get smoke detectors for newly constructed houses.

Contact the Fire Station at (717)-532-4999 or stop by to pick one up.
