South Newton Twp. Vol. Fire Company #49

The South Newton Twp Fire Co was notified on Thursday that we are receiving a grant from the 2008 Department of Homeland Security's Assistance to Fire Fighters Program. The total is $81,605 and will be used to install an emergency generator, a ventilation system to remove the exhaust from the trucks, gear washer and gear racks. We were also recently notified that we are going to receive $10,111.35 from the Pennsylvania volunteer Fire Company grant program.
