A building committee was appointed by President Bowers consisting of Robert Frehn Sr. (chairman), Glenn Keefer, Fred Wagner, Kenneth McBeth, Samuel Martin, John Holtry and David McBeth. The committee was assigned to start planning for the construction of a new firehouse.
