South Newton Twp. Vol. Fire Company #49

Wednesday afternoon shortly after 1 pm Company 49 forest fire members were alerted as part of the Piney Mt. Strike team to respond to Franklin County in the area of Whitetail Ski Resort for a Mt. Fire. Utility 49 responded with 3 and upon arrival worked with the strike team to get a fire line secured around the fire. Crews worked until approx. 20:30 before going available.
