South Newton Twp. Vol. Fire Company #49

Last evening Companies 52 & 49 was dispatched for a vehicle fire also involving a field at mile marker 31 south bound in Southampton Twp. Chief 49 arrived on the scene at mile marker 32 south bound in South Newton Twp. with a passenger car enginge compartment fire and grass  along the Interstate on fire. Engine 152 was first in on the Interstate and handled the vehicle fire and they were assisted by Engine 49 and Tanker 52. Accessing from Hammond Road was Brush 249, Brush 52 and Tanker 49.
